In a season marred by forfeits and several near rain outs, the playoffs for spring softball got underway last Sunday. Game one featured two teams that battled through being shorthanded for the majority of the season, playoffs included. Last season's champion, The Honey Badgers, could not overcome their absences and fell to RBI Posse 19-12 in a short, but high-scoring affair. In game two, RBI Posse squared off against the number one seeded Baby Blue Balls. In a defensive struggle that went the full 6 innings in a record 45 minutes, Baby Blue Balls was able to hang on and edge RBI Posse 6-2.

Last night's 2012 Xoso Bumper League championship game belonged solely to the underdog team, "Setsy and We Know It" as they took down the undefeated No Sets Until Marriage.

No Sets Until Marriage finished the season with no opponents showing possible contention to the title until April 10th when "Setsy and We Know It" beat them in one game of the 3 game match. That was the only game No Sets Until Marriage lost all season until Championship night.

Moves like Jäger ended their season in noteable fashion as undefeated champions. Throughout the season, this team of very experienced veterans only gave up 2 games but never allowed a team to come close to taking an entire match.
