Xoso Volunteers for "Harvest for Hunger"

10/06/2011 - 1:00pm A year ago, the River City Food Bank had a devastating fire to their building. They've been working out of a temporary location for the past year, and should be moving into their new digs soon!
RCFB is a fantastic organization and is the only Sacramento area food bank open every weekday to anyone experiencing hunger from anywhere in Sacramento County. They offer nutritionally balanced 3-day emergency food to people in need.
They're having an event called "Harvest for Hunger" on Thursday, October 6th, and would love to have some Xoso volunteers for setup and clean up. The event is a mixer on top of the Sutter Community Garage.
Setup is from 1-3pm (6 people)
Cleanup from 7:30-9pm (4-6 people)
The Setup shift is the most important, but we know that's a hard time for many of you. If you have a flexible schedule, please consider helping out!
