Defending Champs take home their 3rd Consecutive Flip Cup Championship!

Yesterday Xoso hosted our third flip cup tournament, and privately wondered if anyone would be able to knock off the defending champions.

Coming back with a third different lineup in three tournaments, the newly renamed "The Outie Vaginas" managed to keep their track record intact, and in more dominating fashion than ever before.

We had ten teams trying to test their mettle, trying to prove they've got what it takes to be Xoso's latest flip cup champion. There were a lot of creative outfits and team names, including the Nerd Herd, the Six Muskabeers, Rum Ham, and the Sister Wives. Many teams had shirts made, designating their team name, while others dressed in costume.

The defending champs started off against the Six Muskabeers, and won the best of 11 match, 6-0. Then they went up against the Honey Badgers, and won 6-1. Then came another test, against the runner up from the last tourney, Rum Ham.

Last time Rum Ham was undefeated going into the championship, and the "Outie Vaginas" had to win two matches against them to win the championship. This time, they moved on with a 6-2 win.

Since the tournament is a double elimination tourney, we had a couple repeat matchups. Early on, Rum Ham defeated the Mother Cuppers, leading to a matchup with "The Outie Vaginas". Later, the Mother Cuppers and Rum Ham faced off a second time in the losers bracket, with the winner heading to the championship. Again, Rum Ham came out ahead, barely, with a 6-5 win.

In the championship, The Outie Vaginas pulled out to a 5-0 lead, before Rum Ham started their come back, by winning the 6th round. Unfortunately for them, there would be no late game heroics this time, and the Outie Vaginas would win the championship, 6-1.

We had a lot of fantastic matchups, and many that went back and forth. Thanks to everyone for participating, and we're looking forward to the next one. Which team will step up and knock off the defending champs?
